...INCREASED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON...

The combination of relative humidity values between 30 and 35
percent, south to southwest winds gusting up to 20 mph and low
fuel moistures values will increase the potential for wildfires to
spread quickly this afternoon.

Residents are urged to exercise caution handling any potential
ignition source...including machinery... cigarettes...and matches.
Be sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses
and tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread
quickly.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM
EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected
  in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Dorchester, Wicomico and Somerset Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable
  locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low
  threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water above
  ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low
  lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns near the
  waterfront will experience shallow flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
