AFTERNOON...

* LOCATIONS...PORTIONS OF DOWNEAST MAINE AND THE BANGOR REGION.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY MORNING THEN TAPER
  OFF TO SNOW SHOWERS TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...MODERATE. ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND
  SLIPPERY DURING THE AFTERNOON COMMUTE AND CONTINUE INTO
  TUESDAY. SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED WITH
  VISIBILITIES REDUCED TO ONE HALF OF A MILE AT TIMES.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
