MARQUETTE AND MENOMINEE COUNTIES UNTIL 1130 PM EDT/1030 PM CDT/...

AT 930 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES NORTHEAST OF
FOSTER CITY TO LA BRANCHE TO POWERS...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
25 MILES NORTHEAST OF IRON MOUNTAIN TO 24 MILES WEST OF ESCANABA TO
23 MILES WEST OF ESCANABA.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30
MPH.

WINDS UP TO 40 MPH...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY
DOWNPOURS ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN AND CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS ALL OF UPPER MICHIGAN TONIGHT.
SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BE SEVERE NEAR THE WISCONSIN BORDER AND
COULD CONTAIN SMALL HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF OF UPPER
MICHIGAN...WEST OF A MARQUETTE TO MENOMINEE LINE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS ONCE
AGAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY AND AGAIN
ON THURSDAY. A FEW OF THE STORMS ON MONDAY COULD BECOME
STRONG...ESPECIALLY ACROSS CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED TONIGHT. ANY REPORTS OF HEAVY
RAINFALL WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
