AT 901 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 10 MILES EAST OF
LAKEWOOD TO 6 MILES SOUTH OF BOON...AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS...ALONG WITH
HEAVY RAIN.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...
EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON...AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT.

THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS THROUGH EARLY EVENING ON THE
LAKE MICHIGAN BEACHES OF NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN AS WELL AS THE
BEACHES ALONG US-2 WEST OF THE MACKINAC BRIDGE.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL WORK ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN
THROUGH EARLY EVENING...WITH THE BEST CHANCE EXPECTED FOR NORTHERN
LOWER MICHIGAN. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED. HOWEVER...AN
ISOLATED STORM OR TWO MAY PRODUCE WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH AND
SMALL HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF NICKLES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH THE EVENING. HOWEVER...
