...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MONTCALM...MECOSTA AND
ISABELLA COUNTIES UNTIL 1000 PM EDT...

AT 1253 PM EDT...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED THAT FLOODING WAS
STILL OCCURRING THROUGHOUT THE WARNED AREA. MANY SECONDARY ROADS ARE
STILL UNDER WATER. ROADWAY REPAIRS ARE ONGOING. SMALL CREEKS AND
STREAMS HAVE PEAKED AND ARE BEGINNING A SLOW FALL. FLOOD WATERS WILL
SLOWLY RECEDE AND CONDITIONS WILL NOTICEABLY IMPROVE OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...BIG RAPIDS...
GREENVILLE...HOWARD CITY...MOUNT PLEASANT...BARRYTON...EDMORE...
MECOSTA...MORLEY...ROSEBUSH...STANTON...WEIDMAN...AMSDEN...BROOMFIELD
CENTER...CANADIAN LAKES...COE...DEERFIELD CENTER...GOWEN...HERRICK...
KINGS CORNER...MAPLE HILL...MARTINY LAKE...MILLBROOK...REMUS...
ROLLAND CENTER...RUSTFORD...SHERIDAN CLARK ARPT...SHERMAN CITY...
TITUS...TUBBS LAKE AND VERNON CENTER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES... AS WELL AS
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.

LOWER MICHIGAN...

  PERE MARQUETTE RIVER NEAR SCOTTVILLE AFFECTING MASON COUNTY
  WHITE RIVER ABOVE WHITEHALL AFFECTING MUSKEGON COUNTY
  CHIPPEWA RIVER BELOW MT PLEASANT AFFECTING ISABELLA COUNTY
  MUSKEGON RIVER AT EVART AFFECTING OSCEOLA COUNTY
  MUSKEGON RIVER NEAR CROTON AFFECTING NEWAYGO COUNTY

.TODAY WILL BE DRY FOR THE MOST PART WITH EXCEPTION FOR A FEW LIGHT
RAIN SHOWERS THAT MAY MIX WITH FLURRIES OVERNIGHT TONIGHT NORTH OF
MUSKEGON.  THE FOLLOWING FORECAST IS BASED ON OBSERVED AND FORECAST
24 HOUR PRECIPITATION.

SAFETY MESSAGE...MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE AROUND

* UNTIL SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
* AT 10:15 AM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE HAD FALLEN TO 10.4 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 8.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY
  SATURDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 10.0 FEET...EXPECT MINOR FLOODING OF RESIDENCES LOCATED
  IN THE NORTH PART OF MT. PLEASANT...WITH MANY HOMES SURROUNDED BY
  HIGH WATER
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 10.5 FEET
  ON APR 19 2013.
