...THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN SOUTHWEST
LOWER MICHIGAN...

  PERE MARQUETTE RIVER NEAR SCOTTVILLE AFFECTING MASON COUNTY
  MUSKEGON RIVER AT EVART AFFECTING OSCEOLA COUNTY
  CHIPPEWA RIVER BELOW MT PLEASANT AFFECTING ISABELLA COUNTY
  MUSKEGON RIVER NEAR CROTON AFFECTING NEWAYGO COUNTY

.A COLD FRONT WILL BRING POTENTIAL FOR A LITTLE LIGHT RAIN MAINLY FOR
LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MIDDAY FRIDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL UNDERGO A
MODERATING TREND THIS WEEKEND WITH THE NEXT GOOD CHANCE FOR RAIN
LIKELY NOT COMING UNTIL MONDAY.  THE FOLLOWING FORECAST IS BASED ON
OBSERVED AND FORECAST 24 HOUR PRECIPITATION.

* UNTIL SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
* AT 10:15 AM THURSDAY THE STAGE HAD FALLEN TO 9.2 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 8.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY
  EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 10.0 FEET...EXPECT MINOR FLOODING OF RESIDENCES LOCATED
  IN THE NORTH PART OF MT. PLEASANT...WITH MANY HOMES SURROUNDED BY
  HIGH WATER
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 9.0 FEET

  ISABELLA COUNTY IN CENTRAL MICHIGAN...

* UNTIL 1200 PM EDT FRIDAY

* AT 1105 AM EDT...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT HAS REPORTED WATER COVERING
  PICKARD RD CROSSING THE CHIPPEWA RIVER WEST OF MOUNT PLEASANT DUE
  TO A DEBRIS JAM AGAINST THE BRIDGE. ASSESSMENT OF AREA ROADS
  CONTINUES ACROSS THE COUNTY DUE TO FLOOD WATERS.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...MOUNT
  PLEASANT...ROSEBUSH...WEIDMAN...BROOMFIELD CENTER...COE...DEERFIELD
  CENTER...HERRICK...ROLLAND CENTER...SHERMAN CITY...VERNON CENTER...
  WISE AND WOODS.

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR
IN VEHICLES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED BRIDGES...DIPS...
OR LOW WATER CROSSINGS. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM... EVEN A
