This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Expect periods of snow into early tonight. Most areas will see
between 1 and 3 inches of snow by early tonight. There may be a
narrow band of heavier snow this evening near I-94 that could
impact the evening commute if it happens.

Late this evening an arctic cold front will come through the area
with gusty winds and snow squalls. Area away from Lake Michigan
will only have snow showers with the front coming through. However
west of US-131 the snow squalls will persist causing hazardous
travel due very low visibilities with blown and drifting. Winds
may gust over 40 mph at times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Near Lake Michigan into Wednesday morning expect snow squalls
which will cause near zero visibilities and times and with winds
gusting to over 40 mph at times and with the 6 to 12 inches of
snow expected to fall may cause some roads to drift enough to
stop or greatly decrease travel on those roads.

Another system will bring more snow to the area Wednesday evening
into Friday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
