...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MUSKEGON COUNTY UNTIL 930 PM
EDT...

AT 113 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT
THAT FLOODING WAS STILL OCCURRING THROUGHOUT THE WARNED AREA. MANY
SECONDARY ROADS ARE STILL UNDER WATER. ROADWAY REPAIRS ARE ONGOING.
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS HAVE PEAKED AND ARE BEGINNING A SLOW FALL.
FLOOD WATERS WILL SLOWLY RECEDE AND CONDITIONS WILL NOTICEABLY
IMPROVE OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.


SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...MUSKEGON...
WHITEHALL...BLUE LAKE...CANADA CORNERS...CLEAR LAKE...MEINERT PARK...
MOORLAND...MUSKEGON ARPT AND WHITE LAKE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM HAS CAUSED FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES... AS WELL AS
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.

LOWER MICHIGAN...

  PERE MARQUETTE RIVER NEAR SCOTTVILLE AFFECTING MASON COUNTY
  WHITE RIVER ABOVE WHITEHALL AFFECTING MUSKEGON COUNTY
  CHIPPEWA RIVER BELOW MT PLEASANT AFFECTING ISABELLA COUNTY
  MUSKEGON RIVER AT EVART AFFECTING OSCEOLA COUNTY
  MUSKEGON RIVER NEAR CROTON AFFECTING NEWAYGO COUNTY

.TODAY WILL BE DRY FOR THE MOST PART WITH EXCEPTION FOR A FEW LIGHT
RAIN SHOWERS THAT MAY MIX WITH FLURRIES OVERNIGHT TONIGHT NORTH OF
MUSKEGON.  THE FOLLOWING FORECAST IS BASED ON OBSERVED AND FORECAST
24 HOUR PRECIPITATION.

SAFETY MESSAGE...MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE AROUND
