 * NORTHERLY WINDS OF 30 MPH OR HIGHER WILL GUST TO 50 MPH THROUGH
   MIDNIGHT.

 * THE STRONGEST WIND GUSTS WILL BE NEAR THE LAKE HURON AND
   SAGINAW BAY SHORELINE.

IMPACTS...

 * DIFFICULTY DRIVING HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES...ESPECIALLY ON EAST
   WEST ROADS.

 * SMALL OBJECTS SUCH AS TRASH BINS WILL BE BLOWN AROUND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 MPH OR GUSTS
   OF 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING

LAKESHORE FLOOD ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.
REFER TO THE LATEST URGENT WEATHER MESSAGE AND FORECASTS FOR
DETAILS.

THE POTENTIAL DOES EXIST FOR ACCUMULATIONS FROM AN INCH TO INCH
AND A HALF ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN THUMB THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING. ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE CONFINED MAINLY TO
GRASSY SURFACES.

...LAKESHORE FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT SATURDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A
LAKESHORE FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT
SATURDAY.

* LAKE SHORE FLOODING...WATER LEVELS HAVE REBOUNDED IN LAKE HURON
  WITH RECENT AVERAGES RUNNING AROUND 24 INCHES ABOVE CHART DATUM.
  SUSTAINED NORTHERLY WINDS OF APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH WILL IMPACT
  THE SAGINAW BAY REGION THROUGH LATE TONIGHT LEADING TO RISING
  WATER LEVELS. CURRENT FORECASTS SUGGEST THAT WATER LEVELS MAY
  REACH 30 INCHES ABOVE RECENT AVERAGES OR 54 INCHES ABOVE CHART
  DATUM.

* TIMING...THE HIGHEST WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE
  SAGINAW BAY SHORELINE AREAS TONIGHT AROUND MIDNIGHT EDT.

* IMPACTS...POSSIBLE BEACH EROSION WITH MINOR LAKESHORE FLOODING.
  WITH RECENT WATER LEVELS THIS EVENT MAY BE COMPARABLE TO OCTOBER
  20TH 2011.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * A LAKESHORE FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS WILL
GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE LAKESHORE.
