SATURDAY...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * FREEZING RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA BETWEEN 4 AM AND 7 AM.
   TEMPERATURES FOR MOST LOCATIONS ARE PREDICTED TO RISE ABOVE
   FREEZING BY 9 AM.

 * THE PRECIPITATION MAY BE MIXED WITH SLEET AND SNOW AT THE
   START.

 * ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS AND SIDEWALKS WILL BE SLIPPERY RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS
   TRAVEL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REMINDS MOTORISTS
   TO ADJUST SPEEDS BASED ON THE CONDITIONS... AND TO TAKE IT

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST LOWER
MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

FREEZING RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA AFTER MIDNIGHT. SLEET IS
ALSO POSSIBLE. AS A RESULT TRAVEL WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ICY TRAVEL IS EXPECTED EARLY SATURDAY BEFORE FREEZING RAIN
CHANGES TO RAIN. FOG IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY LATE AFTERNOON AND
MAY BECOME DENSE AND WIDESPREAD SATURDAY NIGHT.

MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY DUE TO WIDESPREAD RAIN
AND SNOW MELT WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE 40S.

SLIPPERY WINTRY TRAVEL WILL REDEVELOP LATE MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY
AS COLD AIR AND SNOW SHOWERS RETURN.
