LATE TONIGHT. LIGHT ICING WILL LIKELY LEAD TO SLICK ROADS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

LIGHT FREEZING RAIN...SLEET...AND SNOW ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY
MORNING NEAR AND SOUTH OF I-96. A GLAZE OF ICE IS LIKELY ON AREA ROADS
FOR THE THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE...WITH AROUND AN INCH OF SNOWFALL
OCCURRING LATER THURSDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON. NORTH OF
I-96...MAINLY SNOW IS EXPECTED THURSDAY WITH ABOUT AN INCH OF
ACCUMULATION. SOME SLICK SPOTS ARE POSSIBLE.

FROM SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW ARE
POSSIBLE BUT UNCERTAINTY EXISTS AT THIS TIME WHETHER THIS WILL
OCCUR.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 4 PM EST THURSDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * A MIXTURE OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED LATE
   TONIGHT.

 * THE MIXTURE WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW TOWARD MID DAY THURSDAY.

 * AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT
   INTO EARLY THURSDAY. THEN LESS THAN AN INCH OF SNOW CAN BE
   EXPECTED INTO THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

IMPACTS...

 * TRAVEL WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS.

 * ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

 * THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REMINDS MOTORISTS
