This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Record heat, with highs into the lower and mid 90s, is expected
this afternoon across most of the area. Heat index values will be
in the mid 90s during this afternoon at most locations inland of
Lake Michigan. Those numbers are in the Extreme Caution Zone on
the National Weather Service Heat Index chart. If you plan to
spend time outside this afternoon consider some heat related
safety precautions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

The hot temperatures will continue on both Monday and Tuesday
afternoon before a cold front brings cooler temperatures on
Wednesday. Isolated thunderstorms are possible early Wednesday
with the cold front.
