...BURSTS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THE
AFTERNOON HOURS...

WEATHER...

 * BANDS OF MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY SNOW WILL SWEEP
   THROUGH PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN DURING THE EARLY
   AFTERNOON HOURS. THE GREATEST CONCENTRATION OF THE SNOW SHOWERS
   CONTINUES TO BE OVER THE NORTHERN SUBURBS OF DETROIT...BETWEEN
   THE INTERSTATE 69 AND INTERSTATE 96 CORRIDORS.

 * WIDELY VARYING SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA WITH SOME
   LOCATIONS SEEING QUICK ACCUMULATIONS AROUND A HALF INCH IN THE
   HEAVIER BURSTS.

IMPACTS...

 * REDUCTIONS OF VISIBILITY WILL IMPACT DRIVING CONDITIONS. THERE
   MAY BE RAPID FLUCTUATIONS OF VISIBILITY DOWN TO A HALF MILE AT
   TIMES.

 * QUICK BURSTS OF SNOW MAY PRODUCE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS ON
   UNTREATED ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * THE COMBINATION OF MODERATE SNOW AND COLD TEMPERATURES WILL
   RESULT IN LOCALIZED SLIPPERY CONDITIONS AND VARIABLE TRAFFIC
   RATES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE
   CAUTION AND ACCOUNT FOR THE VARIABLE DRIVING CONDITIONS BY
   ALLOWING EXTRA TIME.

WIND CHILL READINGS OF AROUND 10 BELOW ZERO WILL PERSIST INTO THE
FIRST PART OF SATURDAY MORNING.
