This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Record to near record early fall heat is expected once again today
as high temperatures reach the upper 80s to lower 90s most locations.
The heat will combine with high humidity to produce heat index in
the mid to upper 90s during the mid to late afternoon period. Safety
precautions should be considered for those engaged in outdoor

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Near record early fall heat will continue through the weekend. High
temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s and heat index in the mid
to upper 90s are expected each day.

There is a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday as the next cold front
arrives in the area.


Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
