THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST LOWER
MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LAKE EFFECT SNOW...BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND COLD TEMPERATURES
WILL COMBINE FOR HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS TODAY AND INTO
TONIGHT...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND WEST OF U.S. HIGHWAY 131 TOWARDS
LAKE MICHIGAN.

ARCTIC AIR WILL SURGE INTO THE GREAT LAKES REGION TODAY AND
REMAIN IN PLACE FOR MUCH OF THE WEEKEND. WIND CHILL VALUES WILL BE
DROPPING BELOW ZERO TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL PERSIST ALONG LAKE MICHIGAN SATURDAY AND
INTO SATURDAY NIGHT. TOTAL NEW SNOWFALL IN SPOTS TOWARDS LAKE
MICHIGAN COULD REACH THE 5 TO 8 INCH RANGE BY SATURDAY EVENING.
THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL FROM HOLLAND SOUTH DOWN THE LAKESHORE.
