THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST LOWER
MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT TOWARDS LAKE MICHIGAN AND
BECOME LOCALLY HEAVY FOR THE THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE. ROADS WILL
START TO BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY LATE TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A PROLONGED LAKE EFFECT SNOW EVENT WILL CONTINUE FROM THURSDAY
THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT AND FINALLY DIMINISH DURING THE LATE
AFTERNOON ON FRIDAY. BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...NEAR WHITEOUTS
AT TIMES AND SNOW TOTALS BY FRIDAY EVENING IN THE HEAVIEST BANDS
TOWARD 10 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS.

AN ADDITIONAL WIDESPREAD ACCUMULATING SNOW IS POSSIBLE FROM
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY ACROSS THE AREA.
