MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM
SUNDAY TO 4 AM EST MONDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.


HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * A LONG DURATION SNOW WILL AFFECT THE AREA...RESULTING IN STORM
   TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 6 TO 8 INCHES BY LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.

 * SNOW ARRIVING LATE TONIGHT...PEAKING IN INTENSITY SUNDAY
   AFTERNOON INTO EARLY SUNDAY EVENING. THE MOISTURE CONTENT OF
   THE SNOW WILL ALSO INCREASE DURING THE COURSE OF THE AFTERNOON
   AND EVENING AS TEMPERATURES RISE TO AROUND 30 DEGREES.

 * SNOW SHOULD TAPER OFF BY THE MONDAY MORNING RUSH HOUR...WITH
   TEMPERATURES AROUND OR JUST ABOVE FREEZING.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLICK... IMPACTING TRAVEL
   ACROSS THE AREA SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
