...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 8 PM
EST SATURDAY...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * Occasional snow showers.

 * Winds gusting to 35 MPH producing near whiteout conditions,
   especially Saturday morning.

 * 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation by Saturday evening.

IMPACTS...

 * Roads becoming snow covered and slippery.

 * Visibilities occasionally reduced to less than a half mile.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * The Michigan Department of Transportation reminds motorists
   to adjust speeds based on the conditions...and to take it
   slow in ice and snow.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Thunderstorms will be likely through this evening. Severe weather is
possible Southeast of a line from South Haven to Alma, with the best
chance Southeast of Interstate 69. The threat of severe weather will
end by 10 PM. The main threat will be damaging winds of up to 70
mph. There is a small chance of a tornado Southeast of Interstate 69.

Roads will become slick late tonight, mainly west of U.S. 131 as
snow develops.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Snow on Saturday could create some slick roads mainly along and west
of U.S. 131. Winds will occasionally gust to 35 MPH creating some
blowing and drifting.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed into this evening.
