...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST FRIDAY...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT AND FRIDAY. THE HEAVIEST
   SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 10 AM FRIDAY.

 * ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 8 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED. THIS
   WILL BRING STORM TOTALS TO AS HIGH AS 12 INCHES BY FRIDAY
   EVENING. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

 * GUSTY WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL RESULT IN BLOWING AND
   DRIFTING SNOW THROUGH THIS EVENING.

 * WIND CHILL READINGS 10 TO 15 ABOVE ZERO.

 * NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE AS VISIBILITIES WILL BE
   CHANGING RAPIDLY.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.

 * LONGER COMMUTE TIMES.

 * THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REMINDS MOTORISTS
   TO ADJUST SPEEDS BASED ON THE CONDITIONS... AND TO TAKE IT

SLOWER EVENING COMMUTE AS ROADS BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY. NEAR WHITEOUT
CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE AT TIMES. LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS IN THE 8 TO
10 INCH RANGE ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH SATURDAY.
