At 245 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms stretched along a line from near
Manchester to near Homer. These storms were are slowly drifting
southeast at 20 mph.

Pea size hail and brief gusty winds will be possible with these
storms this afternoon.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms may produce strong gusty winds and hail
today, particularly this afternoon east of a line from Cadillac to
Battle Creek. Patchy dense fog could impact travel through 9 am,
and again late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Wednesday night into Thursday
morning and some of these storms may be strong.


Spotter activation may be needed today, mainly this afternoon and
east of Highway 131.
