WEATHER...

 * MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOWFALL ALONG AND SOUTH OF I-69 WILL PERSIST
   THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.

 * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BETWEEN 8 PM
   AND 11 PM. SNOWFALL RATES NEAR 1 INCH PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED.

 * NORTHEAST WINDS AROUND 15 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 25 MPH.

 * AIR TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 15 AND 23 DEGREES.

IMPACTS...

 * VISIBILITIES WILL BE NEAR ZERO AT TIMES DUE TO HEAVY SNOW.
   RAPID FLUCTUATIONS OF VISIBILITY ARE LIKELY.

 * ACCUMULATING SNOW MAY LEAD TO SLIPPERY ROADS PARTICULARLY ON
   BRIDGES...EXIT RAMPS...AND OVERPASSES.

 * THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY SNOW AND COLD TEMPERATURES WILL
   RESULT IN LOCALIZED SLIPPERY CONDITIONS AND VARIABLE TRAFFIC

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING.

 * NORTHEAST WIND INCREASING TO GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH WILL ADD
   SUBSTANTIAL BLOWING AND DRIFTING.

 * THE PEAK IN SNOWFALL INTENSITY WILL OCCUR DURING THE LATE
   AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING...WITH SNOWFALL AT AN INCH PER
   HOUR RATE.

 * SNOW WILL TAPER OFF EARLY MONDAY MORNING.

 * TOTAL ACCUMULATION OF 12 TO 16 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
   AMOUNTS OF 18 INCHES POSSIBLE.

 * WIND CHILL FALLING TO ABOUT 10 BELOW ZERO TONIGHT.

IMPACTS...

 * SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY WILL RESULT IN
   DANGEROUS CONDITIONS FOR TRAVEL AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITY.

 * TRAVEL IS DISCOURAGED DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
   PEAK OF THE EVENT.

 * INCREASING DIFFICULTY FOR ROAD CREWS TO KEEP PACE WITH HIGH
   SNOWFALL RATES...BLOWING AND DRIFTING.

DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY
MORNING. AN ACCUMULATION FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE.
