NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...REMAINDER OF TONIGHT

VERY COLD TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT OVER FAR NORTHERN
MINNESOTA...GENERALLY NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 2 CORRIDOR WHERE WIND
CHILL VALUES OF 25 BELOW TO 35 BELOW ARE EXPECTED.

IN ADDITION...LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL PERSIST INTO SUNDAY
MORNING ACROSS NORTHERN PARTS OF DOUGLAS... BAYFIELD AND ASHLAND
COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN. 3 TO 6 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION IS
POSSIBLE IN LOCALIZED AREAS BETWEEN SUPERIOR AND ASHLAND.

PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE IN DULUTH FOR DETAILS ON A WIND CHILL ADVISORY THAT
IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF NORTHERN MINNESOTA...AND A LAKE EFFECT SNOW
ADVISORY THAT IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR
AREAS OF FAR NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

ANOTHER NIGHT OF COLD TEMPERATURES AND POTENTIALLY VERY COLD WIND
CHILLS IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. WIND CHILL

AND SUNDAY MORNING...

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW OVER NORTHWEST WISCONSIN THROUGH MIDDAY SUNDAY...

.A COMBINATION OF ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE MOVING INTO THE AREA AND
LIGHT NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL RESULT IN VERY COLD WIND
CHILLS TONIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING. CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO
IMPROVE BY MID TO LATE MORNING ON SUNDAY. MEANWHILE...ON THE SOUTH
SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR...LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL PERSIST FOR
THE REMAINDER OF TONIGHT AND DECREASE BY MIDDAY ON SUNDAY. SOME
LOCATIONS WILL SEE BETWEEN 3 AND 6 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION.

* FROSTBITE TIMES...15 TO 30 MINUTES FOR ANY EXPOSED SKIN UNDER
  THESE CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND WINDS WILL
COMBINE TO GENERATE VERY COLD WIND CHILLS. THIS MAY RESULT IN
HYPOTHERMIA AND POSSIBLY FROST BITE...IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT
TAKEN. IF YOU VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE COVER AS MUCH EXPOSED
SKIN AS POSSIBLE TO NEGATE THE EFFECTS OF THE WIND.
