...SNOW THIS MORNING...

AN INCH OR TWO OF SNOW THAT WILL FALL THIS MORNING WILL MAKE FOR
SNOW-COVERED ROADS DURING THE MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE TO WORK AND
SCHOOL.

SNOW HAS BEEN GRADUALLY OVERSPREADING THE NORTHLAND EARLY THIS
MORNING AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING.

TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND ONE HALF INCH IN THE
FAR WEST FROM THE BRAINERD LAKES AREA AND WALKER TO 3 INCHES IN
THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD. THE TWIN PORTS AND NORTHERN WISCONSIN CAN
EXPECT UP TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW.

ONCE THE SNOW ENDS THERE MAY BE A FEW HOURS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE
BEFORE ALL THE PRECIPITATION ENDS.

LEAVE EARLY FOR YOUR DESTINATION THIS MORNING TO ALLOW FOR SLOWER
TRAFFIC.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THERE WILL BE A PERIOD OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW ACROSS NORTHERN
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING.
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 2-5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE MINNESOTA
ARROWHEAD REGION...AND 1-3 INCHES ACROSS THE REST OF THE REGION.
SNOWFALL WILL BE MOST INTENSE AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

LIGHT SNOWFALL WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF ON MONDAY...WITH LIGHT
SNOW SHOWERS AND FLURRIES POSSIBLE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. NEW
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION OF 1-2 INCHES IS POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWEST
WISCONSIN AND THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD REGION...WITH A COATING TO
AN INCH ELSEWHERE.

ANOTHER SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING LIGHT SNOW WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. AT THIS POINT...IT LOOKS THE SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 1-3 INCHES WITH THE MOST IN THE
ARROWHEAD REGION.

SNOWFALL OBSERVERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO RELAY THEIR REPORTS OF SNOW
ACCUMULATION TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.
