This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Wintry mixed precipitation will continue today across the
Northland. Expect mainly snow in Minnesota for locations west of
I-35 and north of the Twin Ports. A mix of rain and snow is
expected east of I-35 and north to the Twin Ports and across
northern Wisconsin. There is also a potential for a period of
freezing rain this morning in northern Wisconsin where pavement
temperatures are below freezing. One to 3 inches of accumulation
are possible, with some locales along the North Shore and near the
Twin Ports seeing a little more than 3 inches. Snow and ice
accumulation may create slippery stretches on area roads today
into this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There is a chance for light snow or a light wintry mix over
parts of the Northland Friday night into Saturday.

Spotters are requested to report precipitation type and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations to the National Weather
Service. Spotters and the public can also report precipitation
type with the free M-PING smartphone app.
