THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL GRADUALLY
DIMINISH THIS EVENING...WITH UP TO AN INCH OR SO OF ADDITIONAL
SNOWFALL EXPECTED ALONG THE GOGEBIC RANGE IN NORTHERN IRON COUNTY.

IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA ANOTHER NIGHT OF FRIGID TEMPERATURES WITH
LOWS 10 TO 20 BELOW ZERO. WHILE WINDS WILL GENERALLY BE
LIGHT...ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD
INCLUDING FROM DULUTH NORTH ALONG THE NORTH SHORE AND ACROSS THE
IRON RANGE LIGHT WINDS WILL BE ENOUGH TO PRODUCE WIND CHILL VALUES
TO 25 TO 35 BELOW ZERO...COLD ENOUGH FOR FROSTBITE ON EXPOSED SKIN
IN AS LITTLE AS 30 MINUTES.

PLEASE SEE THE LATEST WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE FOR DETAILS ON THE
ADVISORIES IN EFFECT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

BITTERLY COLD ARCTIC AIR WILL REMAIN ACROSS THE REGION FRIDAY
NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. SATURDAY MORNING WILL LIKELY BE THE
COLDEST MORNING OF THIS WINTER SEASON IN MOST AREAS...WITH SOME
LOCATIONS ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA DROPPING TO TEMPERATURES
COLDER THAN 30 BELOW ZERO.

LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS COULD PRODUCE ACCUMULATION OF A FEW
INCHES OF NEW SNOW FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING
ACROSS PORTIONS OF ASHLAND AND IRON COUNTIES.

THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE OF SNOW ACROSS MOST OF THE NORTHLAND FROM
LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. WHILE HEAVY SNOWFALL IS NOT
CURRENTLY EXPECTED...ACCUMULATIONS OF A FEW INCHES ARE POSSIBLE
IN MANY AREAS.

SNOW SPOTTERS ARE REQUESTED TO REPORT THEIR SNOWFALL MEASUREMENTS TO
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
