URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WHITEOUT CONDITIONS STILL EXPECTED THIS EVENING INTO EARLY
MONDAY ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

.A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH
CENTRAL MINNESOTA INCLUDING THE CITIES OF REDWOOD FALLS...NEW
ULM... MANKATO...FAIRMONT...AND ALBERT LEA. THIS ALSO INCLUDES
INTERSTATES 35 AND 90. EXISTING SNOW AND ADDITIONAL LIGHT SNOW
WILL COMBINE WITH WIND GUSTS OF 45 TO 55 MPH TO PRODUCE
WIDESPREAD BLOWING SNOW AND WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES.
DIFFICULT TRAVEL IS LIKELY AND ROAD CLOSURES ARE POSSIBLE.

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA INCLUDING THE CITIES OF WILLMAR...MADISON...BENSON...
MORRIS...AND ALEXANDRIA. A LESS IMPRESSIVE SNOW PACK AND RAINFALL
ON SATURDAY WILL MAKE IT MORE DIFFICULT FOR WIDESPREAD BLOWING
SNOW TO MATERIALIZE LATER TODAY...DESPITE WIND GUSTS OF 45 TO
55 MPH AND LIGHT SNOW. SCATTERED AREAS OF WHITEOUT CONDITIONS ARE
STILL POSSIBLE.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR AREAS EAST OF THE
WINTER STORM AND BLIZZARD WARNINGS FOR LIGHT SNOW AND AREAS OF
BLOWING SNOW DEVELOPING LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND LASTING THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING. WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP OVER THE ADVISORY AREA.
