Additional thunderstorm and shower chances on Sunday and Tuesday. Potential for locally heavy rainfall will be possible through this period. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...
Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.
Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Yellow Medicine
and Lac qui Parle Counties.
.Mostly dry weather this weekend, so the gradual decrease in stages
is expected to continue. Widespread rain is becoming increasingly
likely at the start of next week, which is expected to raise river
water levels again.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

North Redwood.

- At 900 AM CDT Friday, the stage was 21.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 900 AM CDT Friday was 21.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 20.0 feet Friday,
May 24.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.
