This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, east
central South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There will be patchy fog around early this morning, but any fog
should rapidly improve through mid morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Snow will develop and move across the area Saturday and Saturday
evening. A winter storm watch is in effect with 5 to 7 inches of
snow accumulation possible. There is a chance the storm could
track further south which would reduce snow amounts in this area.
Conversely if the storm tracks a bit further north, locally
heavier snow accumulations could occur.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO MIDNIGHT
CST SATURDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7
  inches are expected.

* WHERE...Lyon MN, Murray, Cottonwood, Nobles and Jackson
  Counties.

* WHEN...From noon Saturday to midnight CST Saturday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Be
  prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
