This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Lightning risk.
  Elevated Excessive heat risk.


  Afternoon temperatures will once again climb into the mid 90s
  with heat index values reaching the 100 to 105 degree range.

  Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and
  evening with cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain. Wind
  gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with any stronger storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

  Heat index values will once again rise into the 100 to 105
  degree range on Wednesday afternoon.

  A front will then bring the chance for scattered thunderstorms
  to the outlook area late Wednesday night into Friday.


  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
