...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
NOON MDT THURSDAY FOR THE LITTLE BELT MOUNTAINS IN CENTRAL
MONTANA INCLUDING KINGS HILL PASS...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory For the Little Belt Mountains in central Montana
including Kings Hill Pass for snow, which is in effect from 9 PM
this evening to noon MDT Thursday.

* Locations: Kings Hill Pass.

* Timing: Showers will become widespread this evening and continue
  through Thursday morning before diminishing. Periods of snow are
  likely to affect higher elevations with some slushy
  accumulation on road surfaces later tonight into Thursday
  morning.

* Accumulations: Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches above 5000
  feet.

* Winds: West 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Visibilities: Less than one mile at times.

* Snow Level: 6000 feet lowering to 4500 feet.

* Impacts: Reduced visibility and potentially slick and slushy
  road surfaces over mountain passes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
