THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MONTANA...SOUTH CENTRAL MONTANA...SOUTHEAST MONTANA AND NORTH
CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA
TODAY. STORMS EAST OF BILLINGS TODAY WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
PRODUCE TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WHICH COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.
LOCATIONS MOST AT RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING WILL BE ALONG RIVERS AND
STREAMS...LOCATIONS NEAR RECENT BURN SCARS... AND LOW LYING AREAS
WHERE RUNOFF TYPICALLY FLOWS. ISOLATED WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE
ALSO POSSIBLE. INTENSE LIGHTNING ACTIVITY COULD TRIGGER A FEW NEW
FIRE STARTS AS WELL AS BEING A HAZARD FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES.
STORMS WILL DIMINISH AND SHIFT EAST OF THE AREA LATE THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED AGAIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. THESE STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE
SMALL HAIL...STRONG WIND GUSTS AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. STORMS
WILL DEVELOP OVER WESTERN LOCATIONS IN THE AFTERNOON...THEN MOVE
INTO CENTRAL AND EASTERN SECTIONS DURING THE EVENING.
