THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MONTANA...SOUTH CENTRAL MONTANA...SOUTHEAST MONTANA AND NORTH
CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WITH GUSTS OF 60 TO 70 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED
AT LIVINGSTON AND NYE TONIGHT...WITH GUSTS TO 55 MPH AROUND BIG
TIMBER AS WELL. THESE DANGEROUS CROSS WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING HIGH
PROFILE OR LIGHT WEIGHT VEHICLES DIFFICULT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE FROM LIVINGSTON TO BIG TIMBER
AND AT NYE THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL DECREASE BY
MIDDAY SATURDAY WITH THE ARRIVAL OF A COLD FRONT.

AFTER A COUPLE OF VERY MILD DAYS...A SHOT OF ARCTIC AIR WILL
ARRIVE EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. A PERIOD OF SNOW SATURDAY INTO
SUNDAY COULD PRODUCE A WIDESPREAD 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOWFALL...
WITH HEAVIER AMOUNTS ALONG THE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN FRIGID ON SUNDAY BEFORE A GRADUAL WARMING
TREND DEVELOPS EARLY NEXT WEEK. THOSE TRAVELING OR PLANNING TO BE
OUTDOORS THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WINTER
CONDITIONS.
