* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph.

* WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains, Canyon Ferry Area,
  Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains, Gates of the Mountains, Helena
  Valley, Meagher County Valleys, and Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald
  Pass.

* WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO
MIDNIGHT MDT WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 2 and 5 in valleys and on foothills, with 5
  to 11 inches on mountain passes, and 1 to 2 feet possible above
  mountain pass level. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph may cause
  periods of whiteout conditions.

* WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front,
  Snowy and Judith Mountains, and Big Belt, Bridger and Castle
  Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon today to midnight MDT Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, and tire chains may be
  required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure
  they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may want to consider
  alternate plans. Widespread blowing snow could significantly
  reduce visibility. The combination of heavy wet snow and strong
  winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
