...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST
TODAY...

* WHAT...Ice and snow covered roads will create dangerous travel
  conditions through midday today. Another advisory for black ice
  is likely for tonight.

* WHERE...All of central North Carolina.

* WHEN...Until noon EST today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and ice covered roads will make travel
  dangerous through midday. Even with full sunshine, the
  temperatures will not reach 32 until this afternoon. The melting
  process will be very slow today, and melting this afternoon will
  lead to a rapid refreeze tonight as temperatures fall again.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that travel will remain hazardous
due to icy roads and compacted snow. Motorists are urged to use
extreme caution, or avoid travel if possible today. The latest
road conditions for North Carolina can be found online at
DriveNC.gov.
