AT 458 PM EDT...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WERE LOCATED NEAR BOONE AND
BEECH MOUNTAIN...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH.

HAZARD...QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

IMPACT...DAMAGE TO VEHICLES IS EXPECTED.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK, A 15 PERCENT CHANCE, OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE PRIMARY RISK IS
LARGE HAIL. DAMAGING WINDS AND AN ISOLATED TORNADO ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ALSO BE ENOUGH TO CAUSE
LOCALIZED FLOODING.
