THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS OR SNOW FLURRIES...MIXED AT TIME WITH
SLEET...WILL CROSS THE WESTERN AND SOUTHERN PIEDMONT LATE THIS
MORNING THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON. ACCUMULATION...IF ANY...WILL BE
LIMITED TO NO WORSE THAN A DUSTING...WITH NO IMPACT TO TRAVEL
ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

A BITTERLY COLD AIR MASS WILL OVERSPREAD CENTRAL NC SATURDAY AND
REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH SUNDAY. FOR MANY PLACES...TEMPERATURES
WILL REMAIN AT OR BELOW FREEZING FOR 36 TO 48 HOURS.
ADDITIONALLY... WIND CHILLS SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY
WILL DROP TO AROUND 5 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION MONDAY THROUGH
TUESDAY. SOME WINTRY WEATHER IS POSSIBLE WITH THIS SYSTEM...
PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN PIEDMONT.
