THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS WILL GUST UP TO 45 MPH SATURDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM RAPIDLY DEEPENS OFFSHORE THE
CAROLINA COAST AND ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE APPROACHES FROM THE
NORTHWEST. WIND GUSTS OF THIS MAGNITUDE WILL BE CAPABLE OF
KNOCKING DOWN WEAKENED TREES AND TREE LIMBS AND COULD RESULT IN
ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES.

ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE WILL SETTLE OVER THE REGION TONIGHT AND
SUNDAY. A HARD FREEZE IS EXPECTED MONDAY MORNING AS TEMPERATURES
FALL INTO THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S.
