NORTH CAROLINA...WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS
THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING...WITH HIGHEST
CHANCES IN THE MOUNTAINS. THE PRIMARY THREATS WILL BE CLOUD-TO-
GROUND LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. HOWEVER...A FEW STORMS MAY
BE STRONG ENOUGH TO PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS.
