* MOISTURE WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE REGION ON TODAY ASSOCIATED
  WITH A PASSING WARM FRONT. IN ADDITION...AN UPPER DISTURBANCE
  WILL SLIDE THROUGH THE REGION AIDING ENHANCEMENT OF ANY SHOWERS
  AND THUNDERSTORMS. AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL AND POTENTIAL
  FLOODING ARE LIKELY WITH SOME LOCATIONS SEEING UP TO 2 TO 4
  INCHES OF RAINFALL.

* WHERE HEAVY RAIN OCCURS...SMALL STREAMS WILL RISE RAPIDLY AND
  POSSIBLY FLOOD SURROUNDING AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE

INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   FLOOD WATCH.

IN ADDITION TO THE FLOOD WATCH...THERE WILL BE A THREAT OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS...WITH DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AS THE PRIMARY THREAT. AN
ISOLATED TORNADO THREAT WILL ALSO EXIST ACROSS THE FOOTHILLS AND
PIEDMONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

..MONDAY...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE. A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS
THE AREA MONDAY AFTERNOON. THERE MAY BE A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE FRONT...PRODUCING DAMAGING
WIND GUSTS AND LARGE HAIL.
