THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MOST OF WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 IN WESTERN
NORTH CAROLINA. CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY
THREAT WITH THESE STORMS. HOWEVER...A FEW STORMS COULD PRODUCE
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND LARGE HAIL. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT AN
ORGANIZED LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS COULD DEVELOP OVER THE OHIO VALLEY
OR EASTERN KENTUCKY EARLY THIS EVENING. STEERING WINDS COULD
BRING THE STORMS ACROSS WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA DURING THE MID TO
LATE EVENING HOURS. IF THIS SCENARIO DEVELOPS...THE POTENTIAL FOR
DAMAGING WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN NORTH
CAROLINA MOUNTAINS...AS WELL AS THE ADJACENT FOOTHILLS AND
POSSIBLY THE PIEDMONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

..SATURDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..SUNDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..MONDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..TUESDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..WEDNESDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..THURSDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
