THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST GEORGIA...UPSTATE
SOUTH CAROLINA...AND PORTIONS OF NORTH CAROLINA IN THE PIEDMONT
AND ALONG THE BLUE RIDGE.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

AS A MOIST LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES OUT OF THE GULF OF MEXICO
TOWARD THE ATLANTIC...RAIN WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE CAROLINAS AND
GEORGIA. THE RAIN WILL BE GENERALLY LIGHT TO MODERATE...BUT
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE BLUE RIDGE.
THE LONG DURATION OF THE RAIN...COUPLED WITH ALREADY WET
SOILS...MAY LEAD TO MINOR FLOODING IN URBAN AREAS AND AREAS WITH
POOR DRAINAGE INTO EARLY SATURDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

..SATURDAY...HEAVY RAIN WITH FLOODING POSSIBLE. LOW PRESSURE WILL
SLOWLY MOVE AWAY FROM THE REGION THROUGH THE DAY...AND RAINFALL
WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF. HOWEVER...WITH SOILS ALREADY BEING NEAR
SATURATION...THE RAIN MAY CAUSE ADDITIONAL LOCALIZED FLOODING.
..SUNDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..MONDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..TUESDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..WEDNESDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..THURSDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
