This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Wednesday

Windy conditions return on Wednesday with northwest winds
increasing to 25 to 35 mph, with gusts 40 to 55 mph in some
areas. A Wind advisory has been issued for northeast Nebraska and
northwest Iowa from 9 am through 4 pm Wednesday. High fire danger
could exist in southeast Nebraska where the combination of warm
and dry weather overlaps the stronger winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday night through Tuesday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

Spotter activation will not be needed tonight or Wednesday.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 4 PM CST WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 9 AM to 4 PM CST Wednesday.

* TIMING...Winds substantially increase by late morning, and
  diminish by late afternoon.

* WINDS...Northwest winds increasing to 25 to 35 mph, gusting 45
  to 55 mph at times.

* IMPACTS...High profile vehicles will have difficulty traveling.
  Loose objects will be blown around. Holiday decorations could be
  damaged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 mph are expected for
one hour or longer, or winds of 45 to 57 mph for any duration.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
