This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

The combination hot and humid air will result in afternoon heat
indices approaching 100 degrees. These conditions will also
contribute to moderate to strong instability with isolated strong
to severe storms possible through the evening hours, mainly north
and west of a line from Albion to Hartington. Hail and locally
damaging winds will be the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Heavy rainfall is possible this weekend into early next week as a
slow moving cold front tracks across the area. Several rounds of
showers and thunderstorms are expected along this front as it
progresses from north central Nebraska on Saturday to southeast
Nebraska and southwest Iowa by Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
