The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Western Douglas County in east central Nebraska...
  East central Saunders County in east central Nebraska...

* Until 115 PM CDT.

* At 1244 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Ithaca, or 7 miles southeast of Wahoo,
  moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Yutan and Mead around 1250 PM CDT.
  Elkhorn and Waterloo around 1255 PM CDT.
  Valley around 100 PM CDT.
  Western Omaha, Flanagan Lake, and Standing Bear Lake around 105 PM
  CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Two
Rivers State Recreation Area.

* Until 130 PM CDT.

* At 1238 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles west of
  Ithaca, or 4 miles south of Wahoo, moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

DODGE...NORTHWESTERN DOUGLAS AND NORTHERN SAUNDERS COUNTIES...

At 1221 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles south of
Cedar Bluffs, or 8 miles southwest of Fremont, moving northeast at 60
mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 1220 PM, half-dollar sized hail was
         reported in Malmo.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Fremont, Cedar Bluffs, Inglewood, and Woodcliff around 1225 PM
  CDT.
  Nickerson around 1235 PM CDT.
  Herman around 1250 PM CDT.

Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Severe storms will again be possible through mid afternoon, from
now through about 3 pm. Large hail, damaging wind gusts, and
tornadoes will be possible. Flash flooding could also occur for
those areas that received 3 to 7 inches of rain earlier today. A
tornado watch is in effect most areas east of Highway 81.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There`s a marginal risk of severe weather on Thursday.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of the following counties, Harrison,
  Pottawattamie, Shelby, Burt, Butler, Colfax, Dodge, Douglas,
  Saunders and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is occurring. Streams continue to rise
  due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. It will take several
  hours for all the water from these storms to work through local
  drainage systems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1126 AM CDT, emergency management, trained spotters, and
    the public reported very heavy rainfall across the warned
    area early this morning. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have
    fallen over much of the warned area, with some locations
    receiving 8 inches or more.
  - Some of the hardest impacted locations include eastern Butler
    and western Saunders counties, southeast Dodge county,
    northern Douglas and southern Washington county, and
    extending into Shelby county.
    Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Omaha, northern Council Bluffs, Fremont, Blair, Harlan,
    Wahoo, David City, Tekamah, Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn,
    Carter Lake, Missouri Valley, Valley, Logan, Avoca,
    Arlington, North Bend, Yutan and Underwood.

  and Shelby and Nebraska, including the following counties, Burt,
  Butler, Cass, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Lancaster, Otoe,
  Platte, Saline, Sarpy, Saunders, Seward, Thurston and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rains from 3 to 7 inches fell last night and early this
    morning generally in an area north of Interstate 80.
    Thunderstorms are expected again through early afternoon,
    potentially moving over the same areas that received heavy
    rain earlier.

  Creek system.

* WHERE...The area along parts of the Big Papillion and Little
  Pappilion Creek in Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...While much of the flood control region will have
  Papillion Creek remain within its banks, some low-lying and
  flood-prone locations will experience flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 913 AM CDT, Big Papillion and Little Papillion Creeks are
    running very full, and are experiencing flooding in some
    locations. This will continue into the early afternoon hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, Ralston, Offutt AFB, La Vista,
    Aksarben, South Omaha and Benson.
