This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Tuesday

Gusty northwest winds will continue into the early evening, with
speeds reaching 25 to 35 mph and gusts reaching at least 40 to 50
mph. The gusty winds could contribute to fire concerns in fields
with dried vegetation and harvest activities, especially with
relative humidity peaking around 25 to 35 percent in the

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday night through Monday

Gusty northwest winds are possible again on Thursday from late
morning through early evening. Wind speeds again could reach 25
to 35 mph, with gusts of at least 40 to 50 mph.

A killing freeze is possible on Friday and Saturday mornings
across the area, which could end the growing season for areas
that still are active. Hard freeze conditions are possible on
Saturday morning, in particular.


Spotter activation will not be needed tonight or Tuesday.
