This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Sunday

Windy conditions are forecast to develop late tonight and continue
into Sunday afternoon. Most locations will see wind gusts from the
south at 35 to 45 mph, however some spots could gust to 50 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday night through Saturday

Freezing drizzle will be possible Sunday night into Monday
morning along mainly along and north of Interstate 80, but some
icing as far south as Otoe and Mills county is possible. The
light icing up to one tenth of an inch. Light accumulating snow is
possible Sunday night into Monday morning in northeast Nebraska
and northwest Iowa.

Accumulating snow of 1 to 3 inches is possible Monday night into
Tuesday morning north of a line from Columbus to Mapleton, Iowa,
with freezing drizzle possible for areas south of I80. Light icing
up to one tenth of an inch is possible.

Spotter activation will not be needed tonight or Sunday.

MONDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of up
  to one tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Nebraska and
  southwest Iowa.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to noon CST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel
  conditions, including during the morning commute on Monday.
  Additional light icing is expected Monday night into Tuesday
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads.
Slow down and use caution while driving. The latest road

THIS AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 9 AM this morning to 3 PM CST
this afternoon.

* TIMING...Gusty winds will increase quickly this morning and
  dissipate this afternoon

* WINDS...Southerly increasing to 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to
  55 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong wind gusts will make driving difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Loose objects will be
  blown around.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 mph are expected for
one hour or longer, or winds of 45 to 57 mph for any duration.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
