...STRONG COASTAL STORM TO AFFECT THE AREA MONDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY NIGHT...

.A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL EXIT THE MID ATLANTIC COAST
MONDAY AND RAPIDLY DEVELOP SOUTH OF NEW ENGLAND. THIS LOW PRESSURE
WILL STRENGTHEN SIGNIFICANTLY OFF THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND COAST
BY TUESDAY MORNING. SNOW WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA FROM SOUTH TO
NORTH LATE MONDAY INTO EARLY TUESDAY...AND WILL LIKELY BE HEAVY AT
TIMES DURING THE DAY TUESDAY. AT THIS TIME THERE REMAINS SOME
UNCERTAINTY WITH EXACT TRACK...SO THE LOCATION OF HEAVIEST
AMOUNTS COULD SHIFT IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS. WINDS MAY ALSO BECOME
QUITE GUSTY ALONG THE COAST...AND POTENTIALLY PRODUCE A BRIEF
PERIOD OF NEAR-BLIZZARD OR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE
TUESDAY NIGHT.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 10 TO 14 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE MONDAY IN SOUTHERN NEW
  HAMPSHIRE...AND BY EARLY TUESDAY FOR THE MOUNTAINS INTO CENTRAL
  MAINE. SNOW MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES DURING THE DAY TUESDAY. SNOW
  WILL WIND DOWN LATE TUESDAY...BUT LINGER INTO WEDNESDAY.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LOW VISIBILITIES WILL LEAD TO
  DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...1 BELOW TO 17 ABOVE ZERO.
