.LOW PRESSURE LOCATED OVER EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA THIS AFTERNOON
WILL STRENGTHEN AS IT MOVES NORTHEASTWARD TO A LOCATION OFF THE
NEW JERSEY COAST LATE TONIGHT. THE LOW IS THEN EXPECTED TO DRIFT
FARTHER OUT TO SEA ON TUESDAY.

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF NEW JERSEY...INCLUDING THE COUNTIES OF MORRIS...
  SOMERSET...MIDDLESEX...MONMOUTH...MERCER AND OCEAN.

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT.

* RAIN IS EXPECTED TO BECOME MODERATE TO HEAVY FOR THIS EVENING
  AND IT SHOULD CONTINUE INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THE RAIN IS
  FORECAST TO TAPER TO SCATTERED SHOWERS LATE TONIGHT. RAINFALL
  TOTALS ARE EXPECTED TO REACH 1.5 TO 2.0 INCHES IN MUCH OF THE
  WATCH AREA. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS REMAIN POSSIBLE.

* THE MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN SOME MINOR FLOODING
  THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT ALONG AREA STREAMS AND CREEKS AND IN
  AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE.

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING
BASED ON THE CURRENT FORECAST.
