THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN NEW
JERSEY...NORTHWEST NEW JERSEY...EAST CENTRAL
PENNSYLVANIA...NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA AND SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON IS EXPECTED TO
CHANGE TO RAIN ON TUESDAY NIGHT. THE RAIN MAY BECOME MODERATE AT
TIMES. MILD TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN SNOWMELT ALONG WITH ICE
MOVEMENT ON WATERWAYS. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME FLOODING.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR RAIN TO CHANGEOVER TO ACCUMULATING
SNOW ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY. THE AMOUNT OF SNOWFALL
WOULD DEPEND UPON HOW QUICKLY COLD AIR MOVES INTO OUR AREA AND
ON THE TRACK OF LOW PRESSURE TO OUR SOUTH, BOTH OF WHICH ARE
STILL UNCERTAIN AT THIS TIME.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW...THEN SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE BEFORE A TRANSITION TO SLEET AND
  FREEZING RAIN BY THIS EVENING. PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER OFF
  OVERNIGHT.

* IMPACTS...EXPECT SLIPPERY TRAVELING AND WALKING CONDITIONS TONIGHT.
  EXPECT TRAVEL DELAYS IF DRIVING. ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES
  POSSIBLE.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING. PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF DISTANCE BETWEEN YOURSELF
AND ALL VEHICLES AROUND YOU. ALSO GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME TO
REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
