THROUGH THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON WIDELY SCATTERED LIGHT SHOWERS
WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION. SHOWERS NORTH OF THE
PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE AND INTERSTATE 195 ARE MOVING TOWARD THE
SOUTH. IN THE LOCAL PHILADELPHIA AREA, THE SHOWERS WERE FALLING
FROM LOWER CLOUDS AND THE GENERAL MOTION WAS LIGHT AND VARIABLE.
BETWEEN 4 PM AND 530 PM ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL AVERAGE
LESS THAN FIVE HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, SOME
BREAKS IN THE CLOUDINESS WERE STARTING TO OCCUR IN NORTHERN NEW
JERSEY.
