INTO WEDNESDAY...

.AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL REDEVELOP OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST
LATE TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY. AS THIS OCCURS, A SURFACE TROUGH
WILL EXTEND WESTWARD FROM IT AND THIS SHOULD BE THE MAIN FOCUS FOR
HEAVIER SNOWFALL. THE LOCATION OF WHERE THIS FEATURE SETS UP WILL
DETERMINE THE AXIS OF THE HEAVIER ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6
AM EST WEDNESDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 5 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE THIS EVENING AND
  OVERNIGHT, THEN CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT. THE SNOW HAS
  THE POTENTIAL TO FALL AT A MODERATE TO HEAVY RATE AT TIMES
  TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL AFFECT TRAVEL LATE TONIGHT
  THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT, INCLUDING THE RUSH HOUR COMMUTES. THE
  ROAD CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY DETERIORATE DURING TIMES OF HEAVIER
  SNOWFALL RATES. REMEMBER, BRIDGES AND OTHER ELEVATED SURFACES
  TEND TO BECOME SLIPPERY FIRST.

* VISIBILITIES...ONE HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* TEMPERATURES...DROPPING INTO THE MID AND UPPER 20S LATER
  TONIGHT, THEN RISING TO AROUND FREEZING FOR A TIME TUESDAY.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED
ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES, AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

  OF HIGH TIDE JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND ESPECIALLY DURING
  THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* TIMING...HIGH TIDE OCCURS GENERALLY AROUND 200 AM TUESDAY
  MORNING AND AGAIN AROUND 200 PM TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...NUISANCE FLOODING IS POSSIBLE WITH TONIGHT`S HIGH
  TIDE AND MINOR STREET FLOODING IS POSSIBLE WITH THE HIGH TIDE ON
  TUESDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS THAT MINOR TIDAL FLOODING IS
EXPECTED. MINOR TIDAL FLOODING OFTEN RESULTS IN SOME ROAD
CLOSURES. USUALLY, THE MOST VULNERABLE ROADWAYS WILL FLOOD.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE AT A LOCATION THAT IS PRONE TO TIDAL
FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS. THE
WATER MAY BE DEEPER THAN YOU THINK IT IS. YOU WILL BE PUTTING
YOURSELF IN DANGER AND YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE DAMAGED, LEADING TO
COSTLY REPAIRS.
