THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN DELAWARE AND
SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL LIKELY BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO
THE REGION LATER MONDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. A MAINLY LIGHT
SNOWFALL IS FAVORED FOR THIS EVENT BUT THERE REMAINS A POTENTIAL
FOR LOCALLY HIGHER ACCUMULATIONS.

...COASTAL FLOODING IS EXPECTED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY...

.LOW PRESSURE WAS LOCATED OFF THE NORTH CAROLINA COAST THIS
AFTERNOON. THE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN AS IT MOVES
NORTHEASTWARD AND OUT TO SEA. THE LOW WILL BRING AN ONSHORE FLOW
TO THE COASTS OF DELAWARE AND NEW JERSEY INTO MONDAY. ANOTHER
DEVELOPING LOW APPROACHING FROM THE WEST IS FORECAST TO PASS OFF
THE VIRGINIA COAST LATE ON MONDAY NIGHT.

MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A COASTAL
FLOOD ADVISORY. IT IS IN EFFECT FROM 900 AM UNTIL 100 PM MONDAY.

* LOCATION...NEW CASTLE COUNTY IN DELAWARE AND SALEM COUNTY IN
  NEW JERSEY.

* COASTAL FLOODING...MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE AROUND MONDAY`S
  LATE MORNING HIGH TIDE.

* TIMING...HIGH TIDE OCCURS GENERALLY BETWEEN 1000 AM AND NOON ON
  MONDAY MORNING IN NEW CASTLE COUNTY AND SALEM COUNTY.

* IMPACTS...LOCALIZED ROADWAY FLOODING IS ANTICIPATED. SOME ROADS
  MAY BE CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS THAT MINOR TIDAL FLOODING IS
EXPECTED. MINOR TIDAL FLOODING OFTEN RESULTS IN SOME ROAD
CLOSURES. USUALLY, THE MOST VULNERABLE ROADWAYS WILL FLOOD.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE AT A LOCATION THAT IS PRONE TO TIDAL
FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS. THE
WATER MAY BE DEEPER THAN YOU THINK IT IS. YOU WILL BE PUTTING
YOURSELF IN DANGER AND YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE DAMAGED, LEADING TO
COSTLY REPAIRS.
